Château de Lorière
Loire Valley
Côtes de GrandLieu
The Choblet family has been growing here for five generations. Since 1935 they have focused exclusively growing grapes and turning them into wine.
The basic Chardonnay and Muscadet come from relatively young vines ranging from 10 to 35 years of age. These pure and refreshing wines are aged on their lees in underground fibreglass-lined tanks before release.
The extraodinary 1999 library release comes from some of their best terroir with vines ranging from 75-100 years old. This elegant and complex wine ages on the lees for 42 months prior to being bottled.
